I have been married to Debbie for 35 years. We have two adult sons. Dane and Dustin.

Born in Iowa, I have been a Muscatine County resident for 35 years.
arrow                     EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and was an employee of Doane Pet Care/Mars Pet Care for 33 years, until plant closure.

I have enjoyed being a youth soccer and baseball coach. I have also served as a long-term co-chair of the Muscatine County Democrats.

I want to advocate for all of the citizens of Muscatine County.
I will work for good paying jobs of the future, green jobs, new energy jobs and technology jobs.
I will work to improve our county roads so that they can handle the heavy loads of modern agriculture.
I will work to ensure the maintenance and repair of the bridges in Muscatine County.
I will be a good steward of Muscatine County's resources.
I believe in providing high quality, efficient services, while keeping taxes to a minimum.
